Popis
Wai Yuan Hang is another of the interesting places near Eagle Rock in the center of the national park where the Zhang family owns bushes. The cultivar Xingcun Xiao Zhong, which is used to make Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong red tea, better known as Lapsang, is also grown here. The cultivars used to make hong cha are not all that common in the national park. Most of the varieties grown there are of the wulong type.
The taste and aroma is different than the teas from Tong mu or around Wuyi Park. The tea is fuller in expression, with a very rich palette of aromas and flavours.
