A very interesting tea grown from seed, cultivar Okumidori. This cultivar is typical of the Kirishima region and gives the shaded teas a distinct sweetness that is very desirable.

The aroma and flavour is very full-bodied with dominant notes of seaweed, freshly cut grass, fresh flowers and fruit (strawberries) and a distinctive lingering sweetness.
