Harvested in early spring on the famous Emei Mountain in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province, this tea benefits from the mountain’s exceptional ecological environment. Located on the highest of China’s four sacred Buddhist mountains and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996 along with the Giant Buddha in Leshan, Mount Emei offers a cool and misty alpine climate that is ideal for growing tea.
Our tea comes from an uncultivated garden and the plants grew from seed.
Aroma: attractive, sweet, fresh with notes of young peas, orange peel, dried flowers, hazelnuts and cocoa
Taste: medium-bodied, fresh with dominant notes of green peas, orange and passion fruit, fresh flowers, spices and cocoa
