Popis
The garden was founded by the British in 1861 north of the city of Kurseong in the heart of Darjeeling. One of the reasons for choosing the place was the great weather conditions and very good soil. The garden is named after the first administrator, James Singell.
The gardens are located at an altitude of 1000 to 1400 above the sea level and since 1988 they have been growing tea trees organically.
The composition of the gardens is mainly in favor of Chinese tea trees (92%), thanks to the age of these plants, the tea is beautifully floral and smooth.
